• NYSDOL and NYATEP Release the "One-Stop System Building Toolkit"

  Workgroups comprised of local and State representatives have produced a Toolkit to assist local workforce investment areas prepare to implement the Workforce Investment Act. The Toolkit has two sections:

  • the Services and Funding Work Team's "How to Design It and How to Pay for It," which provides seven strategies for developing a local One-Stop System that will respond to the needs of individuals and businesses, and
    
  • the Memorandum of Understanding Toolkit, which serves as a companion piece to the NYSDOL MOU Template, and provides seven key decision points in developing and negotiating MOU's.
