Code Rule 39

Important Information Regarding Industrial CR-39

The Department of Labor is in the process of reviewing its current regulations regarding the storage of explosives (Code Rule 39).  Several groups have expressed concerns about the need for improved security for sites where explosives are stored.  One of the solutions that has been proposed is to adopt regulations similar to those recently enacted in Pennsylvania, or those developed by the Institute of Makers of Explosives (IME). If you are not familiar with these regulations, we have provided links for you below.
