COST OF MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS

If an employee is required to obtain a medical examination to obtain or to retain a job, the cost must be met by the employer. However, a collective bargaining agreement may require the job applicant to pay for the medical examination, provided he or she is reimbursed by the employer after a reasonable period of employment.
