Office Directory

There are three levels at the Appeal Board:

1. the Hearing section offices located in nine offices throughout the state, listed below:
2. the Appeal section office located in Troy
3. the Executive Offices of the Appeal Board located in Troy and Brooklyn

Call, write or fax the local Hearing section office where your case file is located if you have a question and your question has anything to do with:

1. scheduling, rescheduling, postponing or reopening your hearing for any reason;
2. obtaining documents or witnesses at your hearing;
3. obtaining or understanding a decision written by a judge;
4. sending documents to be added to your file; or
5. any other questions about your hearing.

Call, write or fax the Appeal section office in Troy if you have received a final decision on your case after a hearing and you have filed a written request asking the Appeal Board to review your case and if your question has anything to do with:

1. whether your request has been received by the Appeal Board;
2. reviewing the transcript of the appeal;
3. submitting a statement in support of your appeal;
4. replying to your opponent's statement;
5. asking the Appeal Board to reconsider a decision in your case; or
6. any other questions about your case on appeal.

Call, write or fax the Executive Director at the Brooklyn office if your question has anything to do with a complaint about your hearing or your appeal.

Call, write or fax the Executive Offices of the Appeal Board in Troy or Brooklyn with any questions or comments directed to the Chairman or Board members.

Please Note: The Chairman and Board members do not take telephone calls directly from parties whose cases are pending before either the Hearing or Appeal sections. If you wish to communicate directly with the Chairman or a Board member, please send your questions or comments in writing.
