As part of the Department of Labor's continuing effort to provide better service to New Yorkers, unemployment insurance benefit payments are now issued to claimants via Direct Payment Cards. The cards are mailed directly to claimants, along with information on how to use them, and will provide an easier, more convenient and secure way to access benefit payments.
