Through the Office in Intergovernmental Affairs & Federal Policy, the Commisioner's Regional Representatives serve as department liaisons in overall agency issues as well as economic development, workforce development, local government,and general constituent matters. Our commissioner is a member of the New York Census Action Council. Pursuant to Executive Order No. 30, the Department will help to spread the message about the 2010 Census. We will encourage citizens to fill out the census and send it back in a timely manner.
