Albany, NY (January 05, 2011) -
State Labor Commissioner Colleen C. Gardner is urging job seekers to utilize the free One Stop Career Center services before their next job interview.
The One Stops can offer assistance with interviewing skills, resume preparation and career planning.
As a new week of job searching begins today the Labor Department has released a video of a Recruitment Manager giving great interviewing tips for job seekers.
Jill Spoffard, of Pitney Bowes Business Insight, answers questions like: What's the best thing to say during an interview? What's the worst thing to do? How to stand out in the crowd of other applicants?
Commissioner Gardner said, "Job seekers need to go into the interview prepared and the Labor Department is committed to helping them any way we can. Our One Stop Career Centers are great resources for job leads, networking, and retraining."
